BATHTUB TILE REFINISHING

Jersey City, New Jersey

We are equipped to reglaze all types of bathtub tiles – from ceramic, marble, mosaic, and vinyl to porcelain finishes, and even shower stalls, pans, and new fiberglass gel coat tubs!

Professional Bathroom Tile Services

Like the rest of your bathroom, the tile in your bathtub and shower will wear out and get dirty over time. Scum, mineral buildup, fractures, chipping, and stains in the bathroom tile can lower the value of your home. But what about the tile in the restroom? Is it possible to reglaze it?

Your old ceramic or porcelain tiles will look as good as new after being reglazed by LF Jersey City Tub Reglazing & Refinishing.

We can repair and reglaze any existing bathroom tile as part of our renovation services. You can change the color of your tile when you get it refinished. Tile refinishing is a great way to give your bathroom a facelift if you’re tired of staring at the same old bubblegum pink tile every time you step into the shower.

THE REGLAZING PROCESS

Reglazing the tiles in your bathtub or shower can make them last longer and look better for a more extended period. The tiles’ original hue will not be painted over. Painting tile is a simple solution that does nothing to address the underlying issue of damaged tile.

Damaged layers are fixed, rough places are smoothed down, and fresh paint color of your choosing is put to the restored tiles. For refinishing, you’ll need primers, bonding agents, coating, finishes, and tools. We will begin with thoroughly cleaning your current tiles, fixing any chips or cracks, and buffing off any scratches. After the surface has been carefully cleaned, smoothed, and restored, a thin coating is put over the top to ensure consistency.
